I would like to get suggestions on how to standardize on PowerShell 3.0. We have a mixture of PowerShell 2.0 and PowerShell 3.0 installed, and I would like for all of our servers to have version 3.0. Therefore, what are some of the supported methods of installing version 3.0 that have actually worked? We have Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2, so I would like to find a solution that works for both OS versions. I have researched this off and on for a while, and there seems to be several ways to perform the installs, but I am looking for a “proven” solution.
