I am looking to connect to a potentially random Azure cloud service name and push a DSC configuration to it.
One of the provisions for the solution I'm building is to use untouched images. I know I could bypass this by having the images preconfigured and using DSC pull methods. But this question does have wider implications than just this use case.
If I deploy a server to Azure, all I have is a connection URI and certificate to connect to. Is it possible to tell DSC to use this as the connection channel? Rather than using the hack of connecting over that channel to do a Enable-PSRemoting.
If that is possible, how do I go about passing credentials and a server name into DSC so it knows what to connect to, and who to connect as.
