Powershell hangs if Get-VM is used

Fairly straight forward. Powershell hangs (5days +)

Server is 6.2.9200 "Hyper-V Server 2012"

Equivalent setup to several other servers - all without issue

Windows PowerShell

PS C:\temp> $pop = get-vm
PS C:\temp> exit

Ctrl-Break typed; exiting.

Update: Wait chain says powershell is waiting for another process(svchost.exe)
